Driver’s Edge in Carrollton is an official vehicle inspection station for the state of Texas. We provide annual inspections for your car, passenger truck, and motor home as required by the Texas Department of Public Safety. We are also a Recognized Emissions Repair Facility by the Texas DPS.
Recognized Emissions Repair Facilities employ ASE-certified auto mechanics who are well-trained and certified to properly diagnose and repair vehicles that have failed an emissions test. Their dedication to professionalism is shown in the outstanding work they perform in repairing vehicles with emissions-related failures. Recognized Emissions Repair Facilities are also equipped with the proper diagnostic repair equipment to aid their repair technicians and to ensure that auto repairs are done effectively.

Gasoline-powered vehicles from two through 24 years old are required to have an emissions inspection. If you are in an emission county and your vehicle is newer than two years old or older than 24 years, you are still required to have a safety inspection.
Inspection Fees:
- One Year Safety: $7.00
- Two Year Safety (new vehicles): $7.00
- Trailer: $7.00
- Safety Emissions: $25.50
